March 24, 2007 at the Luling Oil Museum. I was joined by other Texas authors for this event and met a lot of new people. Some of which picked up their copies of The Sea Huntress and the advanced copy of The Sea Huntress: Elizabeth's Revenge.
My name up in lights! Well not quite, but its getting there. Also here are some of the latest readers of the Sea Huntress.
These are some of the other authors that I joined at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers on Fiesta Trail in San Antonio on April 7, 2007
Notice something about these pictures. All the smiling faces of those who picked up their copies of The Sea Huntress and Elizabeth's Revenge. I want to thank them all for making this one of the most enjoyable book signings that I have ever had.
Here we are at the San Antonio College Book Fair. These were just a few of the happy people who not only picked up there copies of The Sea Huntress, but also The Sea Huntress: Elizabeth's Revenge.
As you can see by the picture, the new Sea Huntress: Elizabeth's Revenge shirts are out, but in a limited edition. Plus the booksigning at the Holiday Inn in Seguin, TX was a big success. If you missed it, this was one of those events that you had to be there.
You can't help but see the smiles on the faces of these two new fans of The Sea Huntress series. This was one of the busiest signings that we have ever had. It was a sell out, which is why there were only two pictures of those that bought the book. Kathy was so busy meeting people at the door, that she didn't have time to take pictures.
Hastings in College Station May 19, 2007. For a college town there were not a lot of readers. But those that had the chance picked up their copy of The Sea Huntress.
Hastings in Conroe, TX. This was a very wet day for a booksigning but as always those that could see the promise of a good read picked up their copy of the Sea Huntress.
June 16, 2007 at the Hastings Books in San Marcos, TX. There we met a lot of nice people, where they happily picked up their copies of the Sea Huntress, and Elizabeth's Revenge.
June 23, 2007 at the Hastings in New Braunfels, TX. This was the second time at this store, and will probably be the last. Although these lucky people did come by and pick up their copies of the Sea Huntress and Elizabeth's Revenge. In the time that my wife and I were there we were met with racism and rudeness. So even though we did meet a few nice people, they were heavily outweighted by those who do not deserve to read a book as good as The Sea Huntress.
June 30, 2007 at the Hastings Books in Seguin, TX. There we had an almost sell out of the first book in the Sea Huntress series. I know that a lot of those readers will be back for the second book. Not everyone though was from Seguin, as some of the readers were from my home town Gonzales. One of those was Hayden, who had heard me speak at Gonzales Junior High School a month or so ealier.
Just a few of the happy readers that picked up their copies of The Sea Huntress at the Hastings in Round Rock, TX.
This was at the Staples Mall in Corpus Christi, TX. A very busy place where there were not a lot of readers, but there were those lucky ones that picked up their books at what will be the last signings for a while.
