Author Tim Quinton

Tim Quinton was born on October 12, 1956 in the small town of Gonzales, located in central Texas. While growing up, he craved reading classic science fiction, historic stories of war from Hannibal to World War II. He also was fascinated by the technology advancement of weapons through the millennia. In high school he began to write stories and poetry. Not many years after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the US Army, serving as a medic from 1979 till 1992. During his time in the military he was stationed in the 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas. The 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and the OPFOR unit at Fort Irwin, California. While in Hawaii he attended Chaminade University where he majored in history. During those years he wrote several books and found that people actually enjoyed reading them. But it wasn’t until he married his wife Kathy that he became serious about having them published.
